The book has some new information I did not find in others so it was helpful. However the recommendation to take Aciclovir may be outdated the brand name more common is Zovirax as indicated in the book. It requires a prescription and was first popular in the late 80's. The cream and capsules both provided no benefit at preventing or reducing infection duration. This is not a book with a proven cure but good advice on prevention and some who say it worked but Herpes is tricky it can stay dormant for years. I do respect the research that went into the book and will add some of the recommendations to my own process.
